We went from just saying ‘amen’ to each other’s prayers to becoming the voice of confirmation we both needed for ourselves on many occasions; a typical example of how beautiful things start from usually odd places, although it’s not odd to start your friendship in a prayer house. This friendship reminds me of what we build with God when we pray. When we pray, we talk to God and the cycle does not end until He responds to us in the way He chooses to. He could simply respond to our prayers with an amen or just be the Amen we need. Wait for the amen you need and so desire. It would be worth the wait!
